Post full text to Twitter if text is short or use template otherwise

    Hello,

    I consider moving from micro.blog to WordPress to get more flexibility in site building.
    One of the feature I may miss is the ability to post to Twitter with the following behaviour:
    1. If the text fits a Tweet, post the text to Twitter + extract url and put them at bottom.
    2. If the text does not fit a tweet, use a template, like post title and except with link at bottom to the blog post.

    Would this be possible with WP to Twitter Pro?

    It’s a good idea. It’s not something that’s currently available, but it’s certainly worth my taking a look at. There are filters you can use to write custom rules for switching templates, so it would be possible to implement it on your own terms, but there aren’t any existing settings for it.
