 * Currently, it looks like we can put in quote and link to author/source.
    “some
   quote” – LINK TO AUTHOR/SOURCE
 * Just wondering if there are any plans to add a field to distinguish between author
   and source? So that it could possibly look like
    “some quote” – LINK TO SOURCE
   by AUTHOR
 * Thanks for everyone who is working so diligently. Excited for the new version
   to come out!

 * Title:
    Quote Quote source Link url
 * So you would put the author in ‘quote source’ and format as you wanted. Is that
   not what you’re asking?

 * I would say that this was meant to be as simple and easy-to-use as possible. 
   There’s not going to be anything to distinguish between an “author” or “source”—
   This would all just be the “Quote Source” (i.e. whatever text string you want
   to display below the quote)

 * I guess I was asking because the link URL basically attaches to the source. Just
   wanted to ask if there were plans to separate those.
 * For example, if you wanted to quote from a specific book, it would be
    “some 
   quote” – [NAME OF BOOK/ARTICLE](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/post-format-quote-fields/?output_format=md)
   by author where the name of book/article was linked.
 * Sorry if I’m unclear, but an example of a format I’m talking about looks like
