# Post External Url

 * Hello. I have WordPress blog and i want to change post urls.
 * For example:
    When i load my WordPress Index Page to see all posts, they are:
   [http://example.com/wordpress/?p=1](http://example.com/wordpress/?p=1) [http://example.com/wordpress/?p=2](http://example.com/wordpress/?p=2)
   [http://example.com/wordpress/?p=3](http://example.com/wordpress/?p=3)
 * I want to be:
    [http://othersite.com/something1](http://othersite.com/something1)
   [http://othersite.com/something5](http://othersite.com/something5) [http://othersite.com/something3](http://othersite.com/something3)
 * I saw in DB table one colomn “GUID” (wp_posts)
    There has url link. When i changed
   it to my external site, doesn’t change anything.
 * So, How can i Do that?

 * Hello. I know that option. But it’s when i’m using url from my blog. I want to
   replace my post urls with other domain links!

 * You can’t. It’s not your domain. If you need to link to that, just link to the
   other domain.
 * I’m sure there’s a reason that I can’t figure it out, but why would you want 
   to make pages on your site “link” to a different site?

 * Where do you want these links to appear?
 * In the menu? Goto **Appearance -> Menus** add a link and save the menu.
 * On the front page? Depending on your theme and/or setup you may/may not be able
   to edit front page. But if you can simply include a dummy h2 that is a link to
   the website you want user to go to, a featured image and some snippet text to
   give the illusion of a post.
 * In the Sidebar? **Appearance -> Widgets** Add text/html widget to the sidebar

 * Or you could always use redirects. Just redirect each page you want to the other
   site; [https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/)
