Post Expirator AddOn – Wayne?

I just found this link. It also mentions Post Expirator. Does your add on set the date and expiration settings, such as “Trash” that will then be executed by the post Expirator plugin? It seems Post Expirator seems to works even though it says it has not been test in the last three major versions. There appears to be a lack of any current plugins that will allow for the deletion of a Post based on an entered date. I would love to try out the add on to see if it is still functional with Post Expirator.
