Post excerpt doesn’t respect wp more tag

    Hi.

    I have a problem with excerpt function – {POST_EXCERPT}.

    I thought it would just use everything before wp more tag – <!–more–> – but it shows content after that.

    I tried to apply filters during publishing, not apply them, enable/disable utf-8 but it just doesn’t work for me.

    Any idea about what am I doing wrong?

    Website is BitcoinBlog.cz. I am using WP 4.8.1, last version of the plugin and everything else appears to be working…

    Hello martinj44,
    The plugin FBAP uses the content from EXCERPT when using the format {POST_EXCERPT} , if EXCERPT is not given then the first 50 characters from the post content is selected instead . The suggestion is to set the post’s “excerpt” field with the content you want to see as Except when the post appears on facebook.

    It’s working now.

    I thought it was based on more tag (<!–more–>) in the post field.
