[Resolved] Post Edits Tweeted despite being disabled

Despite tweeting of post edits being disabled, upon editing a post with the latest version of the plugin (2.7.5), it was tweeted again anyway.

In case of conflicts, this was while also using the Stealth Update plugin (with the checkbox selected) on the post.

That’s almost certainly a conflict with stealth updates — post modified dates are one of the primary methods in WP to Twitter for detecting that a published post is being edited.

There isn’t really another consistent way of telling when a published post is edited, at least, not that I’ve ever identified.

I see. I apologise for the bother then, I’ll have to keep in mind for the future that the first edit should not have the Stealth Update option applied.

    Thank You.
