 * Hi,
    my name is Andrea, I use wordpress for a few months, after years of Joomla
   and this is my first post in this forum!
 * I have a small problem and a question…
 * I would like to create a travel guide to London with WP. I find a very nice template
   that allows you to customize posts’ category (colour, background,…) and it has
   a small rating system on post.
 * Is a good choice using post (and not pages) for static content like Attraction
   Reviews (“Piccadilly Circus” or “tower bridge” turistic information for example).
   I would not want that google assign to these posts ta specific date (as if they
   were news) cos these is “static content”.
 * So, it’s possible to hide data in some posts (not in all)?
 * Thank you very much!

 * generally this is possible; you would probably need either a category or tag
   as a marker for those posts, or a custom field …
 * details depend on your currently used theme.

 * thanks… and what do you think about using Post (and not pages) for static content?

 * if you ommitt all the output for dates, categories, tags and next/prev post links,
   there is hardly a difference between posts and pages (at least from the view
   of search engines).
