   when using that…. where do you put the php? In wp-comments.php?

 * post_count – that’s not a function that comes along built in. Have you uploaded
   and activated a plugin ?
    Gravatar – I would think so, never used it myself. 
   Find the part of the code that displays comments, and put it somewhere then move
   it around to suit.

 * The upload of the plugin could have gone wrong..delete it and reupload, making
   sure it goes up as ASCII, not binary ?
