• Hi,

for some odd reason, when I create a loop template, the post content (items created via ACF and CPT UI ) shows just fine in the back end, but when I view the page in the front end, the post content does not show. I saw that others had a similar issue – in my case reverting to an older version of ECS did not help. I tried also different display conditions, but no luck. I am using the latest versions of Elementor Pro (2.8.3) and ECS (1.3.9).

Example of pages where the loop template is used: http://www.sacrecoeurbruxelles.be/about/meet-our-priests/
    http://www.sacrecoeurbruxelles.be/about/fabrique-deglise/

    A view of the back-end.

Any help would be very appreciated!

    Best regards,

    Vladimir

  • I have the same issue with Date Fields. They have stopped displaying. Everything however shows on the backend fine. Thus far, I only have text fields otherwise defined, which do show on the front end.

    ACF 5.8.7
    Ele Custom Skin 1.3.9

Does the new update fixes the issue? If not please go on github and report this issue there. Thanks!

Hi, for what it’s worth, I’m having the same issue. The post content, created via ACF and CPTUI, shows just fine in the back end. In the front end, the post content does not show.

Furthermore (and this probably should be submitted separately), column widths set in Elementor don’t appear to be honoured. In both section and inner section, when setting two columns to 20% | 80%, they appear as 50|50 in the front end. Again, they appear fine in the back end.

can you please give me the steps how I can reproduce both issues?

Updated to v1.3.10, and the dates that were missing now appear, so this update appears to have resolved the missing display on the front end issue.

    Glad to hear this!

The update to v1.3.10 did not help in my case. I will post the issue to github.

I figured that I could include an additional text area field to the custom post type, which I created, which would work. But I think it would still make sense to fixt the issue so that the post content can be used in the ECS. Thanks!

I’ll add I’m having the same issue of the post content not being visible. The content is from a custom post type created using Custom Post Type UI and Advanced Custom Fields. The custom fields are visible but not the standard content from the post.

    Elementor Pro 2.8.3
    Ele Custom Skin 1.3.10
    CPT UI 1.7.2
    ACF 5.8.7

    Thanks

I’m having the same issue, as also posted on Github.
