# Post content missing

 * Hello,
    I am using the Duena child theme for [ politicalfriction.com](http://politicalfriction.com/).
   I was trying to back up my files using FTP. I did something wrong and now the
   content from my posts is missing. I did my best to find a solution with no luck.
 * Any ideas?

 * Usually post content is picked up from the database. I can see posts with images
   being displayed ([http://politicalfriction.com/michael-moore-treadmill-words-that-dont-belong-together/](http://politicalfriction.com/michael-moore-treadmill-words-that-dont-belong-together/))
   which means that the post content is displayed.
 * Can you give an example of the error you are facing?

 *  The content is still being displayed in the individual posts; however,you can
   usually see the photos on the homepage. Now their are just links to the individual
   posts.

 * I think I get what you are saying now.
 * I see that you are using a child theme. What are the custom php files that you
   have in your theme?
 * I can also see that showing the Featured Image is an option in the theme settings?
   By chance, have you disabled it?

 * The custom php files I have are: category.php, footer.php, function.php, index.
   php, sidebar.php, and single.php.
 * And the featured image is not disabled.
