Post comments getting disabled automatically!

    Hi Buddies,
    I am an admin of a security blog. But I thought of putting the question but due to lack of time I was not able to post the query but now its something I need to focus on patching it up.
    While I create a new blog post then I always enable the option “Anyone can post a comment but it will held for moderation before it comes to the blog display”. I have even disabled the option to register to post new comments”. But I dono how come in each 2-3 days my posts are automatically getting locked. I mean the comment post is getting disabled for all of my posts. Why this strange thing is happening. I am seriously sick of enabling the option everyday in my blog admin page. Can anyone please suggest me what can be a good solution to this and why its happening?

    Comments are closed … ie nobody can post comments anymore?

    If so, I’m wondering if your site is set up that way.

    Go to SETTINGS > DISCUSSION and look under the ‘Other comment settings’. Make sure the box on the third line in that block (“Automatically close comments ….”) is NOT ticked.
