• I have used the {billing_address} short code in an email and the address does not include the postcode in the resulting order confirmation email, and also it does not appear on the Order Details page. Is there a way to make it show?

Separately is it possible to change the wording of “State” to “County” on the form and can the URL at the bottom of the order confirmation message be removed? Finally, just a picky thing – on the address it shows “GB” rather than “UK” when “United Kingdom” is selected. The two have subtle differences, especially to people in Northern Ireland.

Any feedback received from them yet? I am keen to use this plug-in and purchase the option to allow more fields to be captured but the missing postcode in particular is a bit of a problem as this is needed to dispatch goods accurately. Especially as it has actually been entered on the form.

The other points are more cosmetic and refer to the fields presented to the customer.

    Hi.

Postcode absence has been fixed in current testing version, thank you for reporting it. You can get testing version by going to Stripe Payments -> Settings, look at the right hand column.

Yes. You can use this guide (even though it’s for different plugin).

can the URL at the bottom of the order confirmation message be removed?

No sure which URL you’re referring to. Can you please elaborate?

I understand how it is important for things to be called the way people around you used to. There should be a way to change it visually via hooks. I will check this and get back to you.

You no longer need to install testing version for postcode fix. New stable version 2.0.34 has been released, it has the fix in it.

Regarding changing “UK” to “GB” in order and confirmation emails, I have made a tiny plugin that does the thing. Just download it and install like a normal WP plugin. Once activated, it would automatically change “UK” to “GB” in order info and confirmation emails. Source code is available here.
