I hope I can explain what I am trying to figure out how to do.
I need to separate categories when showing blog posts full text page.
The pagination just goes from one blog post to another without regard for the category.
For instance, I installed a plugin that would allow a visitor to see an archive page of summary posts within a specific category. There is a link to read more. When you click on the read more, you are taken to the full blog article. That is fine, but at the top, is previous and next links to whatever blog was written before or after the one you are reading. I want the visitor when viewing any particular blog post within a category to only see the a link that would take them to next blog within that specific category. How would I go about doing this? I am not a programmer and I have tried to read some stuff on templates, but I am just getting confused.
To get an idea of what I am talking about go to http://www.thesmallbusinessdoc.com/index.php
There are 3 sections to this site as far a categories go. There a Briefings(one category), there are Guest Blogs (those can be in a number of categories), there are Humorous Tips(one category). See sidebar widgets. If you click on Briefings Archive, you’ll see the summaries of two posts, when you click on Continue Reading, you see the full post and when you click on next at the top you will see the blog post for the Humorous Tips category.
I hope I am making sense. If not just let me know. My client is insistent on making this separate. I would really appreciate the help.
There is a template page called content-single.php that I believe is the one that calls in the post and the pagination.
