@misplon Hello Andrew. I’m facing again an issue with my carousels.
Every morning i check my site and all my carousels load the 10 first posts.
I empty the page cache and then everything OK for a day.
    Next morning, the same…
This happens since 1.17.3. I’m testing it for 4 days now.(when in 1.15.8 never happened this)
Any idea about this? I’m using w3 total cache but this is new issue.
Thanks in advance for your time

Just to know, i’ve asked w3 support to check it too, and i’ll inform you if has to do with my settings… the strange thing that this was not happening before…

    Hi Nick

Can you perhaps explain the issue a little further? Are you expecting more than 10 posts to load?

    Thread Starter nickpapag

    (@nickpapag)

@misplon Yes, the carousel has 30 or more posts and i see only the 10 first.
I manually empty cache in w3 total posts and then everything Ok.
Next morning i test and need to empty again the cache otherwise carousels load only 10 and stops

After navigating past the 10th post, is the 11th post and onwards not loading as expected?

Yes, i see the animation trying to load but it stops here.
I empty cache and then OK for a day (i think)
Every morning i usually test my site and the last 4 days i have this behavior.
Re empty cache and so goes on…

I’ve already sent my w3 settings to support, unless you have something else in mind.
    Thanks a lot

Thanks. Are there any other layers of caching, perhaps at a hosting level? If the issue returns it suggests that something else might be referencing older files.

No there is not server cache. Only w3
Do u have something in mind that changed things since last updates?
…cause this is really a new issue

    (@nickpapag)

@misplon W3 support didn’t find something in my settings. before 5 hours, i had to empty the cache.
When the issue appears again, i will not empty, and inform you to check, just to see how it goes, and if the issue is present to you.
They asked me (from w3) to do the same to confirm
Thank u Andrew for your time!

@misplon Hello Andrew. One more day with the issue present. Please check carousels in home page.
The 10 first posts are loading as expected and then if u navigate to the right it stops and shows nothing. Of course all of them have more than 10 posts.
The same to all my pages that i use carousels.
I will not clear cache until you check and confirm the issue.
    Thank u very much!

    Thanks.

The Post Carousel JS file is from the previous update. Something is forcing the old version to be loaded. This file is outdated: http://gym-vasil.lef.sch.gr/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/widgets/post-carousel/js/carousel.min.js. The non-minified version isn’t which aligns with this being a general caching issue: http://gym-vasil.lef.sch.gr/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/widgets/post-carousel/js/carousel.js.

One option might be to exclude this file from caching for the time-being.

Hello @siteorigin and thank u for reply. The strange thing is that this is something new since 1.17.3. update. I had 1.15.8 before. I have informed w3 total cache support and they told me to check if there is a plugin conflict. I’ ll inform them about your opinion and let u know how it goes.
    Thanks again for support

@siteorigin Forgot to mention that my previous version was a beta @misplon sent me to test and update 1.17.3 over this one. Can this thing force the issue?

Hi Nick, there hasn’t been a change from our side that would have caused this, at least not that I’m aware of.
