Post by email (wordpress in a host)

I’m not being able to have the feature “post by email” using the wordpress from my host provider (uol.com.br).

I have already tried to setup my host email like suggested in the forum but nothing. When running the foot page with the frame in the end it is always showing “slow down, it is not necessary to check msg all the time” (something like that). And also a gmail account.
In the wp_admin also tried different account on it and the user added different account as autor and editor as well.

Do I need to program something else? what can I check in the environment? what to troubleshoot?
