    I was wondering if anyone could help me or point me in the right direction for a fix that will allow a post by email with an attachment to result in a post in the blog with a file as the link.

    I am trying to attach a pdf document to an email that will appear as a link to a file in the blog.

    When I attach the file at the moment, the message is broken down into it's mime types as below:

    This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

    ——=_NextPart_000_0011_01C62683.D7A3B800
    Content-Type: text/plain;
    charset=?us-ascii?
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

    This post was made via email with a pdf attachment.

    ——=_NextPart_000_0011_01C62683.D7A3B800
    Content-Type: application/pdf;
    name=?ASX 11 Appendix 3B Options Rights Issue-3.pdf?
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
    Content-Disposition: attachment;
    filename=?ASX 11 Appendix 3B Options Rights Issue-3.pdf?

    Can anyone please help me with this?

    Cheers, James

    Eemail with attachments are multi-part by definition, and you would have to get a fairly complicated plugin to neatly separate the title + body part from the PDF-part, insert a link into the post *and* save the PDF file in a directory of your liking.

    It certainly can be done and as far as I know it might have been.
    Tricky :)
