• I have read through the posts and not found any solutions to this problem. But I have read of similar problems.

I cannot seem to get my Preview this Post button to work properly. Once clicked, I am taken to a page that says “Page not found”. The only thing I was guessing at was the fact that I have set the WordPress permalink structure to none-dynamic urls, however, the Preview this Post button links to a dynamic url page.

I have also followed other suggestions. I only have one plugin running and I disabled that to see if it would work, no luck. I also reset the permalink structure to dynamic url, still no dice.

Can anyone make any suggestions? I would love to have this resolved!

    Thanks so much!
    Devin

  • What is a “non-dynamic url”?

He’s basically talking pretty vs. non-pretty.

Preview URLs are always ?p=whatever ones because the post is not published yet and so it does not have a real permalink.

So the URL is not related to why your preview doesn’t work.
