Good app if you want to be able to have more control over every little detail, just too much for my needs.

While I would have been happy to use the lite version for my client (1 service provider with any services) I didn’t read the reviews here and found out luckily after only about 30 min wasted that the “lite version” only allows 2 services. Only mention is when you try to add a 3rd service you get this prompt at top:

“You have reached the limit for the free version. Upgrade to Appointments+ for unlimited services”

I am glad that there is a “lite version” of this plugin, I have seen it recommended many times as a great plugin but I wanted to test it out before dishing out membership to WPMU Dev just for this plugin. Worth it only if you have 2 or less services or want to dish out the money, otherwise other plugins that are free out there.

    Hi @sgorgyan,

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about the plugin! This free version does have the service limit, which works great in most cases where there’s just a single service or service provider. It’s only when you have a bunch of services that the premium version is better suited.

Was there anything else you didn’t happen to like about it? As you’ve given it a rather low rating, I’m wondering if there are any other issues you’ve found with it?

We’d love to discuss that if so. You could always contact us if that’s more comfortable for you. Whatever works best for you, we just wanna hear you out on any thoughts for improvement. 🙂

Hope you have a great day!

    Hello,

First thank you for your reply (and very quick by the way).

-Learning curve! I am installing this for a client and compared to all the other appointment plugins this is way beyond confusing without taking a lot of time to learn it for him (for him the simpler the better). (took me a little longer than I would have wanted too)

-Language support, while you can always tweak the files, the user-end portion doesn’t offer a way to change the language.

-I know I have mentioned this before but there should be a better job mentioning the limitations of the “lite” version.

In the end the premium product is awesome and that brought me to you guys (I installed the premium version for his site). You guys are the first site I check for plugins.

Have a great day and thanks for the plugins and awesome blog (WPMU Dev)!

    ~SG
