Possible to show ads from same company in multiple locations?

    Hi.

    Really love the plugin thank you. We installed it for one of our clients and they have now said that they need something different to what they’ve got. There are 4 widgets on a page that each shows an Ad Group (each group is a different size). There are ads for multiple companies and they all have ads in each of the groups. The client would like the ads to show for one of the companies at random when you land and then subsequent pages randomly load a different or the same company. This way the page is branded to that company.

    Is this possible with the free version of the plugin, the Pro version or not at all?

    Hi Mark,

    thanks for your great feedback.

    What you describe is called “roadblock” and it is not an option in Advanced Ads, yet.

    Anyway, I have set it up for some clients like this:

    * add a line of JavaScript to the companies ad in the first group using advads.set_cookie() (manual).
    * use the cookie condition in Advanced Ads Pro for the other ads to only display when the first cookie is set (manual).

    Yes, “roadblock” sounds exactly like what he requires. Thanks for the info, I’ll take a look and get back to my client.

    I guess it would be a great option to have in the Pro plugin but tricky to implement.

    Well, it is currently more a matter of time than technical problems, but it is definitely on my wishlist for this year.
