• Hi, just purchased the standard license for a client from your website and support led me to here. Im wondering if there is a way to set a default template for my client? In other words, I would like them to go to the back end to Add a New Page and then that page uses a default template I have built in the Templates section? Is this possible with your plugin? Any ideas on how one can achieve this?

    Hey Blindacme,

Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry to say but that’s not possible with our plugin. There may be a way but it would be something that requires a lot of coding. You could head over to our User Voice Forums though and add that in as a feature request. I can see how this can be helpful.

Hey Blindacme, to follow up on Ben’s answer, this is a feature that is available in the premium versions.

With our Agency package, you can disable all of the built-in templates and you can create your own default templates. You wouldn’t be able to automatically load a template for your users, but you could limit them to just one template that you created.

the price table doesn’t make this clear – I purchased the standard version for $99 and based on price table it should be specified. I have a site with about 30 pages and I have user created content on site so I need to set default templates for post types etc… Is this only available with agency? If so then how does the price/feature comparison currently on the site explain this now?

    Hey Nathanssimpson,

Thanks for getting in touch! Did you want to set a page template that all of the other 30 pages on your site will use? Sorry to say but that’s not going to be possible with BB.

What Robby meant above is, on the Agency version, you have the option to override/disable the core layout templates. These layout templates are content templates that you can place on pages/posts, on top of the page/post template the theme offers. Put simply, BB only replaces the native WP editor.

I haven’t really tried one but I believe what you are looking for can be done with a theme builder instead. Sorry for the misunderstanding there. We do have plans to incorporate something like a theme builder, but we don’t have any concrete timeline as to when it will be released.

What kind of layout are you trying to achieve? We do offer a way to call BB generated content via shortcode and PHP Code. If you’re trying to place a BB generated Call To Action row on each page, that can be done with a bit of coding.

    Ben
