In the Dashboard > “Settings” > “WPBook Lite” > “WPBook Lite Setup” page > “Stream Profile/Page Options” section, I’m seeing that “Publish new posts to YOUR Facebook Wall” and “Publish new posts to the wall of this page/group:” are checkboxes, so they are both able to be ticked/enabled at the same time.
I’d think this would imply that both could be used at the same time. Could it be an issue with either/or/both the “Page ID:…” / “Group ID:…” settings?…
Yes, that is what I was assuming too @mjjojo. However, it’s only going through to one (although the page ids are correct). Hmmm…
Look through the error log. I was able to post on a public group (that I am not admin of) and my wall. Although I was not able to post in on my own personal page while doing those…
Yes, you can publish to your profile (Facebook wall) and the wall of a page at the same time – I do so regularly.
However the permissions are tricky, and you’ll need to have the correct access token stored that matches what you are trying to post to.
So if you change the settings for what destinations you are posting to, you should also regenerate an access token.
Is there an email that I can send screenshots to you @john Eckman – or is there an online tutorial that shows how to deal with the tricky permissions? (It seems as if I have the right permissions but it is not working correctly.) Thanks!
