Possible to fill custom field automatically?

    I have a listing form with two custom fields, and one of them is a number that has already been filled in by the user as part of the process before submitting the CL listing, but in another plugin – is it possible to automatically fill the custom field with what they have already entered? If so, can you give me some idea how to do so? Thanks.

    Hello,

    Sorry, Sir/ Madam in our plugin custom fields will not autofill. It is front end user input data. In Edit mode will get previous enter data but on first submit fields need to manually input.

    Others plugin will not work here cause it is a different meta fields.

    For anyone else who might be interested, I have managed to achieve the functionality I was looking for, which was taking a number from a myCred transfer form input by a user, and having it automatically fill the relevant CL Listing form custom field being filled by the same user. I am sure the method could be adapted for another scenario, although it would depend if and how the other plugin stored the input in the database. It does however involve editing a plugin core file (can’t be done using a child theme) so has to be edited and reuploaded every time there is an update to the CL plugin.
