• In an image-rich blog (Atahualpa theme), I post almost all photos at 50% size to fit in center column. Readers then click through to see them at full size.

Insert/edit media menu allows display at 60%-130%. Manually setting an image to display at 50% is no hardship, but doing dozens really slows things down. And many authors just can’t handle the complexity.

Is there an easy way to get into the code to add a “display at 50%” option? Could software developers please consider adding this option? Is there a plugin for this?

    Any solution much appreciated!

  • I too with like this as a permanent feature in WordPress. With the advent Retina displays i now have to upload images at double the resolution so images look crisp and punchy on retina displays. But for these images to display properly in WordPress i need to tell WordPress to display them in my blog at 50% which i have to type in manually for each image 50 – 100 per blog post. This is taking way to long.

    Can any one help?
