I have to control the user access to the /download/ page, the page where all the downloadable files are listed. Is it possible to only give access to some users with certain user roles? For example administrators and authors?

Yes you can do that in your Download Manager->Settings->File Browser Access.

Hi Tauhidul. Thanks for swift reply. I have tried to put the File Browser access to Authors and Administrators, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. I get access to the /download/ page even when I am not logged in. Is there any other settings I have to adjust?

sorry for the confusion, you need ti editor code to in functions.php , line number #44, replace 'has_archive' => true, with 'has_archive' => flase,

FYI: v4 here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/ has the option with settings page.

I have the same issue.

I configured Download Manager->Settings->File Browser Access to only allow certain users access. But I can still access the /download/ page even when not logged in.

I modified the functions.php as Shaon suggested, but anyone can still access the page. Do you have any other suggestions?
