Possible to allow given Roles to edit content on a specific page only?

    Hello,

    I am building a site for a chamber of commerce that needs a directory of all members and will have individual profile pages for each member.

    Ideally, it would allow each member the capability to edit their respective profile content periodically. Is it possible to grant each member permission to upload media/edit content on their respective profile page only?

    I’m aware there may be membership management plugins that allow this, but many of them have their own templates and themes, and I’m worried about consistency/compatibility with whichever theme I end up using for the site.

    This definitely seems like a possible solution. Good lookin’ out!

    I forgot to mention I need these profile pages to be public, and members (users) to be able to upload/display video on their profile. Many of the plugins I have come across for user/member management seem to be more interactive and social network-focused than I need. I don’t have a need for users to interact with each other via comments, etc… just the ability to edit and add content to their respective profile page.

    I think those kind of things are public by default. There might be a lot of options, that you might not need – but at least part of them you can disable from settings and for the rest you can either read documentation and use some kind of filters or simply ask author directly.

    I think I found a plugin that lets me do exactly what I needed. For those interested in granting access to users to edit only specific pages:
