# Possible filtering/navigation

 * This is more a question to the developers or could be considered a feature request
   I guess.
    I got the plugin working and it’s really cool, great work! I was wondering
   if there are plans for adding filters or other search/navigation tags. A possibility
   to turn a filters option on, so that in the gallery you can discriminate for 
   instance between the date the photo was taken. Select ‘2020’ to only show photos
   taken in that year, etc.

    thank you for the suggestion. We have an [open issue](https://github.com/skaut/skaut-google-drive-gallery/issues/83)
   discussing adding filtering, feel free to add your notes there. I must warn you,
   though, we are not currently planning on implementing this in the foreseeable
   future. External contributions are, however, welcome.
