On my client’s site at sierraprasada.com, we have just added social media links to the page footer. The links do not work on the homepage — which contains only the slideshow. The links DO work on all other pages of the site, so presume it is not a template issue, or a footer coding issue.

Is it possible there is a conflict? The footer contains just simple html link tags, no javascript or anything fancy. I’m baffled.

Well I figured it out with some help – had a custom.css issue where bottom margin of the slider was covering the functionality of the theme footer. All better now.

(I’d have deleted the post above, but since I do not know how, thought I should update).
