Possible bug post release 7.5.8

Post your version 7.5.8 , even if the state field is disabled for billing, it is showing up as State (optional)
on the checkout page . 7.5.9 changelog says about Fix country and state fields so was this fixed because if it’s disabled , it should’nt be showing the checkout page. Kindly check this issue as it must be affecting others as well.
