Support » Plugin: Posts in Sidebar » (Possible addon?) Bold text when selected

    Hello 🙂

    Are there any easy way to somehow mark up an entry, when it has been selected?

    Fx. if I click on a post I want to read, the selected post would be marked bold/in another color/be tabbed a little to show it is currently displayed.

    Would be a great addition to an already great plugin 🙂

    Good tip! 🙂
    I have just added a “current-post” class so you can highlight the line with bold, background, etc. In the next hours I’ll upload the change to the repository.

    The “current post” class appears only if we are in a single post view AND the post in the sidebar is the same (i.e., has the same ID) as the post in the main body.

    Then you can use your stylesheet to change the look.

    P.S. I’m changing the topic to “Not a support question”.

    The plugin has been updated to 1.6 and is live now.
    Thanks for your idea!

    Bye.

    I’m the one saying thanks, but you are very welcome 🙂

    I have a problem getting it to work though. I updated the plugin, but it doesn’t highlight the selected entry.

    Do I need to add something to my theme stylesheet?

    Yes, for example a bold-style:

    li.current-post.pis-li { font-weight: bold; }

    or whatever style you like.
