• Hi
I have a site with a full width slider positioned behind the main container and at the bottom of header.php. Thus the main container’s natural position is below the slider. To adjust the main container to appear over the slider I have set a negative top margin. Fine – except that I have removed the slider from showing on mobiles, so the main container is now off the top of the screen. I think I need to set the main container position relative to the top of the screen. Anyone any idea how to do that? Here is the site. Any other solutions gratefully received.

  • I’m sorry but it is really beyond the scope of these forums to deal with general CSS issues. Try a dedicated CSS resource such as http://www.css-discuss.org/ instead. In the meantime, try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.
