Positioning and margins of navbar

  • Hi there,

I hope someone can help with this, it is probably staring me in the face!

I am moving a navbar from the bottom of the page to the top. I have done this but the padding is wrong. I have tried changing the top margin in style.css nav.ul but it has no effect.

    Firebug shows me this:
    a href=”http://victoriamacdermott.com/WP3/about/” style=”margin-top: 0px;”>About</a

and if I set this margin to 10px on the fly it works, but I can’t see how to do that so it is “permanent”.

    Theme is Minimatica.

    Site is http://victoriamacdermott.com/WP3/

Many thanks if anyone can help.
