    Hi,

The “Position” value in “Cookie Law settings” tab “General” section “Cookie Bar”, when the “Cookie bar as” is set to “Widget”, always sets itself to the value “Left”, even after having updated it to the value “Right”.

It sets itself to value “Left” after having accessed the tab “Themes”, even without modifying anything in the “Themes” tab, or if you quit the plugin settings for another page on the WordPress interface, and it is necessary to set it again to “Right”.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Go to “GDPR Cookie Consent” –> “Cookie Law Settings” –> tab “General” –> section “Cookie Bar”
    2. The “Position” value is set to “Left”
    3. Set the “Position” value to “Right” and click on the button “Update Settings”
    4. After the update message confirmation go to “Themes” tab, or just open another section of the plugin by clicking, for example, on “Cookie List” or go to another part of the WordPress interface, for example “Pages”
    5. Go back to “GDPR Cookie Consent” –> “Cookie Law Settings” –> tab “General” –> section “Cookie Bar”
    6. The “Position” value is set to “Left” again

In the case of the “Steps to reproduce” above this behaviour has no effect on the website, but after step 4 if you change “Themes” setting of the plugin without setting the “Position” to “Right” again before clicking on the “Update Settings” button then the website will be affected, the widget position on the website will change to the left of the screen.

Could you please have a look at this?

    Best regards,
    Massimo Roccia
