There are several plugins that will let you manually reorder posts. The default order, I believe, is simply the date the item was posted.

Here’s one that should work; please let me know if it doesn’t!

    Hi Jon,

It isn’t the posts I need reordered. I’m playing with three photos on one page and can’t seem to reorder. The order across the page is alpha based on position. I’m looking to showing the “President” before the “Manager” I feel I’m missing something obvious.

    Here is the page.

I didn’t speak clearly enough. There are several plugins that will let you reorder custom post types, of which “staff members” is one. If you install one of those, that should allow you to show the president before the manager, etc.

Alternatively, you can change each staff member’s publish date to reorder them instead.

Here’s a video showing the plugin I listed above in action:

Justradar, try this plugin, which will let you drag and drop them into whatever order you like:

i have to come back and comment … Jon (the plugin author) contacted me directly to help me resolve my issues … using the post-types-order plugin worked perfectly .. i didn’t realize it added a “re-order” menu item to the Genesis Staff Bio Grid plugin menu … i’m very appreciative and impressed with his responsiveness. PROPS!
