Portrait oreinted no longer shows a portrait

    At some point with one of the updates the galleries no longer display a portrait oriented image. All of the images now show in the gallery as a landscape orientation. Previously they did display as a portrait or landscape as they are. When opened in my lightbox they do display as a portrait orientation.

    Any help would be appreciated, I just updated to 1.4.8 and still have the same issue. http://www.mnvphotography.com/galleries/waterfall-images/

    Hi

    With the rewrite of the galleries, we found that allowing you to turn off cropping for certain gallery templates resulted in strange layout issues. It might not be evident at first, but it became apparent on mobile or smaller devices.

    The route we decided to take was to remove the crop option, so we in effect force the cropping, in order to overcome the layout issues. This seemed to be the lesser of the 2 evils.

    If you want to keep the original aspect ratio for your thumbs, then I would suggest you move your galleries to use the masonry template rather.
