portfolio shortcode- order of Projects displayed on Page

    I am using the <portfolio> shortcode (on a Page that uses the Default Template in the Illustratr theme) in order to have only Portfolio Projects from specified Project Types on that page. Unlike the Portfolio Archive that displays Portfolio Projects with newest at the top, the page using the shortcode displays the oldest at the top.

    Is there something that I can do to make the shortcode Page display newest Projects at the top, as the Portfolio Archive does? I am hosting the site at WordPress.com, so am using the available web tools there to admin the site. Thanks!

    Hi Curt,

    Unfortunately, we are not sure that you are using our Portfolio plugin, since if you use the shortcode of the following kind [latest_portfolio_items count=3] the three latest portfolios are displayed, where the latest one will be on the top.
    Please provide a link to the page where the problem occurs.

    We are using the portfolio function that is native in the Illustratr theme and a handful of other themes available on WordPress.com. Is this your plugin?

    I had originally posted this question in the general Plugins forum, but was informed that I needed to post it in this forum as BestWebSoft was the plugin author. Maybe that was incorrect information?

    Hi Curt,

    We do not collaborate with the developers of the Illustratr theme, we haven’t been informed of the possibility to use our plugin as the standard functionality of the theme. Anyhow, you should contact the theme’s developers with the questions concerning the standard functionality of the theme.
