Portfolio of galery post

I ‘m looking for an opportunity to create a portfolio of exercises. I then show a picture and I want it to be linked to an exercise (post). These are divided into categories so at a page I want to show one category. Onother page another categorie etc.

At this time succeeds me to show all posts on a page using the template “full with image and galery post” .
Can I also just show the posts from a category ?

When I try to show it as a portfolio than only the pictures shown, not the page that is part of it .
