Portfolio home page but with excerpt

    Hi,
    I want to use the portfolio page as the home page. But, the excerpt doesn’t show on the home page. I know if my home page was blog, it would show.
    Is there a way to use portfolio as homepage but showing the excerpts?

    There might be some confusion here. The posts display an excerpt on the page, wher as the portfolios do not. Look at the Rebalance Demo.

    These are working as expected.

    What you can try is using skipping the portfolio template and use the portfolio shortcode. [jetpack_portfolio display_content=true]

    Thank you for your answer. Yes, everything is working fine. I was just wondering if it was possible to show excerpt on portfolio homepage.

    This shortcode didn’t work (I should paste it to the CSS editor, right?).

    Guess I’ll have to remake all pages into post pages, and not portfolio.
