    Hi,

    I have been using this plugin for a website I manage for long time (en.younesrahmoun.com). Yesterday, I have received a plugin update notification and I found that it was updated automatically and all the portfolio items and menus has gone. Also, the dashboard portfolio menu shows now only the settings for the plugin and I can’t find where the portfolio items can be managed now.

    Thanks for providing clarification and suggestions for solving this issue soon.

    Deactivate the plugin. Then, reactivate the plugin.

    Hi Justin,

    Thanks for your reply. The portfolio items are now back. However, the plugin settings does not allow me to use empty field for the Category Slug in Permalinks (this how it was before). Every time I save settings it restores the default values for the permalinks.

    Do you have an idea for the reason?

    The plugin doesn’t currently allow an empty category slug.

    Category slugs are new in this version. It’s best to think of this as a completely different plugin.

    Hi Justin,

    Thanks for your reply. I have the all the portfolio indexed by search engines as: ../portfolio/[category]/[item] now the new URL would be ../portfolio/CATEGORIES/[category]/[item]
    I don’t understand the advantage of adding this part to the URL. So, I would prefer reverting to the previous version if I know it will not get upgraded automatically again.

    Good work with the plugin anyway, it helped us a lot and I hoped I didn’t had to face this experience with it. Lucky new users who will start fresh from this version.
