Portfolio Category not showing up

So I have on my website a few portfolio categories and under some of them I have sub-categories (for example: ‘Illustration’ and under that I have ‘Digital’ and ‘Traditional’) but I have introduced another one (‘Comic Book Project’) and it is not showing up in the menu.

The weird thing is that I can upload pictures to that sub-category and I can see them in the initial page of the portfolio, but the whole sub-category just doesn’t appear under ‘Illustration’.

Also, on each page there is the category title (‘Home’, ‘About me’, ‘Portfolio’ and ‘Contact’) and all of the titles are at the same hight, apart from ‘Portfolio’, which seems to be higher for some reason.

Does anybody have any idea why these things happen and how I can change them?
