Port theme – buttons and homepage

I can’t get the buttons to stay central when i apply the class.

And on the static front page… everything is left aligned and won’t budge????

site not live yet – anybody help?

I’ve tried overusing with !important. I’ve put the whole of the front page in a centrally aligned div box. i’ve gone into the css and put centre aligning everywhere!
