Popups + Geotargeting Lite no longer working

    Hi,

    Been a fan of this plugin since a long time now, but I’ve got an issue with the Geotargeting Lite compatibility.

    I use to be able to create a popups for countries not supported by our website to redirect them to the appropriate site, but now it no longer works. Popups works whenever I select another display rule (like Page).

    I’ve tried reinstalling a previous version of Geotargeting Lite, tried deactivating my cache plugin (WP Rocket) but nothing seems to work. Ajax setting is currently on.

    I was wondering if your plugin is still compatible with Geotargeting Lite or do I need the PRO version from now on? If it is, any idea where I should be looking to fix this issue?

    Hi Damian,

    Thanks for confirming that Popups plugin still works with Geotargeting Lite plugin. At least I know this isn’t the issue.

    Here’s what I did :
    Since it wasn’t a compatibility issue, I’ve tested by turing on and off several settings and plugin. I’ve found out the AJAX MODE was causing the error “No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.” on Locabrowser.com (the website I used to verify the popups). By turning the caching module off (WP-Rocket) and AJAX MODE, I was able to view once again all my original popups on Locabrowser.com.

    Now here’s my question. Since I can only use popups and cache plugin by turning the AJAX MODE on, I’ve got no way of verifying the popups from around the world. Is there a way to fix the ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ issue or is it what Ajax mode does to work with cache plugin?

    I forgot to answer your question… I’m using several COUNTRY display rules on 4 different popups.

    I’ve made all my test on a new popup with a single rule, COUNTRY IS EQUAL TO USA.

    Use something else like HolaVPn to test the popups
