Hi kamcza,
Thanks for reporting this. We’ve found and fixed the issue with the closing tooltips on mobile devices. It’s fixed in the new version 3.9.14 which is coming up shortly.

The “×” close button appeared in the right corner but it still does not work. The problem persists.
Sorry, we’ve missed the fix in the minified version of the script. In the current (3.9.15) version it will work if you disable script minification in the General Settings (“Use a non-minified version of tooltip script”). In the next version 3.9.16 it will work in both.

I have the latest version 3.9.16 and I am using non-minified version BUT it still does not work.
I’ve just checked your site on both Chrome Dev tools with mobile mode and on the actual mobile device and in both cases clicking on ‘x’ has closed the tooltip. What browser/mobile are you using? Did you try clearing up the cache?

I cleared cash in Chrome and it started to work somehow. But when I tap on several “links” some work and some not and later they do. I do not understand the pattern. Sometimes I can close it by tapping on ‘x’ and sometimes it does not work but I can close it by tapping elswhere.
I use the latest Chrome on Android.
It can be a problem with the precision of the clicks, the boundaries of the click areas (especially as small as ‘x’ icon) are quite small in the mobile devices. But as you’ve found out it also works when clicking outside of the tooltip.

There is a pattern:
Closing by tapping outside works ONLY IF ‘x’ icon does not work.
and also
‘x’ works ONLY IF closing by tapping outside does not work.
It works perfect on Firefox mobile and in Chrome mobile mode in dev tools. It doesn’t work at all in Samsung browser. Neither does the “x” work or does tapping outside of the tooltip. Maybe it is browser specific issue.
It could be that it’s browser specific – Samsung browser is a relatively new thing. Unfortunately at the moment we don’t have any way to check it physically how the tooltips look on it.
