    Hi! For some reason the map shortcode in the popup will not display. The popup opens on clicking the popup button ‘POPUP OS MAP’ but is blank. It should display the same map showing below it on the page.

    Debugging is on but is no help. Console doesn’t reveal anything.

    Trigger shortcode: [popup_trigger id="100083" tag="button"]Popup OS map[/popup_trigger]

    Popup content: [osmap height="425" width="100%" gpx="http://carnethy.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/carnethycap-joined.gpx" gpxstyle=1 opacity=1 track="3"]

    Hope you can help. Thanks!

    Hello @digbymaass – thanks for writing in!

    I checked the link and I see what you are referring to. I then noticed that it returns this console error. See screenshot -> https://share.getcloudapp.com/Jru4z1ed

    Looking at it, this can be caused by a conflict with the current theme or with any of your active plugins. I would now suggest you check out this documentation on how to Test if a Plugin or Theme Interferes with Popup Maker: https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/332-test-whether-a-plugin-or-theme-interferes-with-popup-maker That way we can determine if its a conflict with another plugin or theme quickly.

    If that helps, then we would very much appreciate it if you could quickly rate the plugin, just to help us spread the word.

    Otherwise, for us to assist you further with your issue, you will need to escalate it directly to our HelpScout support desk. Check out this link: https://wppopupmaker.com/support/ Thank you.

    Hi! I don’t get that console error in either of 2 browsers on a Mac. Could it be your browser that is causing it? I don’t get any relevant errors.

    Using Health Check plugin with just Popupmaker and the relevant mapping plugin active, and a default theme, the popup is still blank.

    So if there’s any conflict it may be with the mapping plugin. I tried it with a different mapping plugin shortcode and this time it popped up with just the shortcode displaying. No map.

    Doesn’t seem to like mapping shortcodes!

    Warning! Health Check would not disable in Firefox after first use! Fortunately I was able to delete it in Safari.

    Hello @digbymaass

    Thank you for getting back!

    I made a test under my test environment. I used the plugin OS DataHub Maps by Simon Large. I encountered the same error as my colleague has seen. The error is coming from the OS DataHub Maps plugin and not from Popup Maker.

    Please see: https://share.getcloudapp.com/6qu8W9wd
    Noticed the popup displayed but the shortcode of the OS DataHub Maps did not render.

    Kindly reach out to the plugin author of OS Datahub Maps and ask for the error on the /wp-content/plugins/os-datahub-maps/js/os-api-branding.js?ver=1.0.11
    Specifically on this code:
    // Append the API logo.
    var div1 = document.createElement(‘div’);
    div1.className = logoClassName;
    elem.appendChild(div1); <–

    I hope that helps. If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin.
    If you still need help please message us directly at https://wppopupmaker.com/support/

    Thanks! What’s the error? What should the code be? That’s the plugin I use. I took out that bit of code and uploaded and it made no difference. Then I deleted the js file and it made no difference!

    I think I might give up.

    Hi @digbymaass

    Thank you for getting back.

    From the frontend investigation, it’s the code elem.appendChild(div1); in the plugin. Here is the file path: /plugins/os-datahub-maps/js/os-api-branding.js?ver=1.0.11

    // Append the API logo.
    var div1 = document.createElement(‘div’);
    div1.className = logoClassName;
    elem.appendChild(div1); <–

    It would be best to contact the support or plugin developer of OS Datahub Maps as they have a better understanding of how the plugin is coded.

    I hope that helps.
