Hi. I’m new to the plugin and wondering if in the free or premium version there are settings for:

    1) The Accordion in the popup – where you click each cookies type and it expands to show more details – is it possible to remove the accordion function so that it doesn’t expand to show more text? E.g. When you click ‘Analytics’, I don’t want it to show ‘Analytical cookies are used to…’.

    2) The ‘Always Enabled’ text next to ‘Necessary’ cookies; can this wording be changed? I’m implementing this for a German website and we want to use our own translations.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dan

    Hi @dancappdesign,

    1. You can try and apply custom CSS via the site theme to modify the default style of the plugin. Kindly check with your web developer or theme developer for assistance.

    2. To override default translations, please export the .po and .mo file from here and copy them to your site wp-content/longuages/plugins/ directory. You can edit the PO file to alter the translations.

Hi @webtoffee. I didn’t have a wp-content/languages/plugins/ directory so I created that and put these files in there:

    wp-plugins-cookie-law-info-stable-de.mo
    wp-plugins-cookie-law-info-stable-de.po

I also put them in the existing directory: /wp-content/plugins/cookie-law-info/languages/

Nothing has changed. Do I need to rename the files or something?

    Hi @dancappdesign,

    Please rename the files as:
    cookie-law-info-de_DE.po
    cookie-law-info-de_DE.mo

    Thanks! That worked.
