# popularity contest plugin

 * When I try to activate this plugin I get “Plugin could not be activated because
   it triggered a fatal error”.
    The plugin maker says to open a thread here, so
   here I am. Any ideas?

    I’ve posted about
   5 or 6 times here of late and no body seems to want to respond. I really appreciate
   all the help I’ve received here, and hope it doesn’t end! whooami…samboll…Krembo99…

 * Hi Jerry, I just checked in the plugin listings, it currently says compatible
   up to wordpres 2.3.1
    You could try hoing to the developers plugin page to check
   on developements. If its creating a fatal error, I would de-activate it and delete
   for the time being, until you know whether it has been upgraded. hope it helps.

 * Hi mikey1,I downloaded it from wordpress.org at [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/popularity-contest/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/popularity-contest/)
   and it says 2.3 or higher. I’m using 2.7 oh well if it won’t work that’s ok It
   wouldn’t be difficult to just see which of your posts are the most popular and
   make a list of them yourself. Anyway thanks for the response!
