Popularity Contest opacity hack

  • Hello,

I am currently working on a site project using WordPress 3.0.2 and Tanzaku theme. I have a simple idea based on the Popularity Contest plugin, but it seems like I don’t have the right coding skills to implement it. As you might already know, Popularity Contest plugin gives each single post a value expressed as a percentage calculated depending on different criteria, in order to determine each post’s popularity within a blog based on WordPress. Tanzaku theme displays each post as an independant rectangle on a single page. What I would like to do is to extract the value generated by Popularity Contest for each post and attribute it as an opacity value to each single rectangle displaying a post. For example, if a post has a popularity value of 87%, the post/rectangle will have an opacity value of 87% as well. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to automatically extract each percentage and specify an independant opacity value for each single post. Any kind of help/suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
