Hello,

I am using this shortcode to show the popular posts. I want to show them depending on the number of views.
Do I have anything wrong?

[wpp order_by=’views’ limit=5 range=’custom’ time_quantity=1 time_unit=’minute thumbnail_width=30 thumbnail_height=30]

Hi @blumbreras,

Other than missing a single quote after minute I don’t see anything wrong with the shortcode.
- What do you mean with “I want to show them depending on the number of views”?
- When you say “not showing”, what exactly are you seeing on screen?
- Are you using a caching plugin?

Hi @hcabrera,

same here: widget worked fine for month but now it doesnt show any entries.

Well, the plugin hasn’t been updated in a while so it must be something on your side. Please share your site’s URL and I’ll have a look.

check https://happyhiker.de/ – the Popular Posts should appear in the Sidebar as “Beliebte Beiträge” …

Well, there are two issues @stkuhn:
1. You’re using a caching plugin on your site. WPP can work with all caching plugins out there but there are some adjustments you need to make: Is WordPress Popular Posts compatible with caching plugins?
2. It seems you have a firewall/security plugin installed on your site that’s blocking access to the REST API. WPP needs access to the REST API so it can track visits: Is WordPress Popular Posts compatible with security / firewall plugins?
