Pop-up won’t load the Video Slider Module

    I have many pop-ups within my site but I can differentiate them by two categories:
    1. Pop-ups with the Video Module.
    2. Pop-ups with the Video Slider Module.

    The second category is causing issues in my website. These pop-ups with multiple videos won’t load ever.

    I’ve contacted Elegant Themes support service and they told me that after evaluating the issue, it has nothing to do with the Divi Theme. They suggested me to disable all plugins and determine which one was causing the problem… and of course, it was “Pop-ups for Divi”.

    I have no JS custom code nor CSS custom code affecting Video Slider Module. (ET support suggested me to evaluate that and they were not causing the issue).

    To replicate the issue you should follow this steps:
    1. Visit this link: http://s423496212.mialojamiento.es/work
    2. Click on any image with the following text:
    – L’OLIVIER ASSURANCE – VENEZ, VOUS COMPRENDREZ
    – SOJASUN – BON, POUR DE BON
    – CORNETTO – DON’T TRY TOO HARD
    – Really any still image composed with two or more pictures will trigger pop-ups with the Video Slider Module.
    3. When the pop-ups trigger, you will see a grey background and a loader.

    I’m using the latest version for every plugin and for Divi Theme.
    Windows operating system and Brave web browser were used to test the issue, but Firefox browser was used as well without any positive results.

    Hi @albertomp

    Thanks for getting in touch and reporting that issue.
    Unfortunately, the Video Slider Module does not work inside Popups at the moment.

    The reason is, that Divi tries to initialize the Video Slider during page-load, but at that time the Popup is not visible and therefore the initialization fails.

    This is already on our roadmap and we’re looking into ways to make the Video Slider Module compatible with Popups. As we have not identified a stable solution for this, I cannot give you an ETA on the solution…

    I hope that you can temporarily find a solution with another Module until we can provide that update.
