• Hello,

I’m trying, (unsuccessfully), to set up a popup subscription with your newsletter plugin, that I must confess is the simplest that I’ve tested thus far, but *all* of them produced a successful working popup subscription.

Your instructions state that this is the short-code [sola_nl_sign_up] to use.
Trying this, even on normal page: produces this error.

    says
    Please enter your e-mail address.

And that as you press accept [ subscription ] after filling in your name and email address; it’s also the exactly the same as the error that I get with my Boxzilla popup maker.

My theme provides its own short-codes, and produced this [do_widget id=sola_nl_subscribe_widget-2] short code, and the exact same error occurs using that as it does above using yours.

NOW! – Placing the [Sola Newsletter Subscribe] widget in the side bar on your site, and the newsletter plugin works as it should, but not anywhere else.

I been trawling your forums, but apart from HTML and CSS being used in changing the subscription PHP code, then I’ve got nothing. You got any pointers that I might try next?

    Thanks for reading, Jessica.

Hummm! – I guess, (after 2 weeks and two days: currently), then that answers my simple query on Popups.

    – And that’s a shame: because this Newsletter plugin was the best in the simplified stakes for creating a very simple (Round-Robin-Newsletter), without the heavy sell sell sell greed that rest adopt. So it’s with a heavy heart that I’m forced to remove it, but I won’t issue a one star review for the lack of support: as others have rather bitchily done.

All in all: it works, within constraints.

    Thanks chaps!
