• Hi,

Love the intuitive plugin setup. Unfortunately the popup is not properly functioning for us on http://tinyurl.com/gn3eswf.

When browsing to another internal page, a cookie is created on exit preventing to display the pop-up on any other page. When deleting the cookie, the pop-up is displayed, but again only once.

Tried many different display rules, tried with ajax mode enabled and disabled, all without success.

If you want to show the popup everywhere on every page load you need to set cookies to 0 days. Is that what you need?

    Hi Damian,

    Thank you for your reply.

I would like to keep the cookies set to 30 days, and display the pop-up on every pages except for a couple as I have defined in the display rules. The plugin doesn’t seem to respect these rules and only shows once to never be seen again after on any page until the cookie is manually erased.

We are using the plugin to invite visitors to take part in a survey. So we don’t want the popup to display on the actual survey page for example. I’ve defined these rules in the display options. By setting the cookies to 0 days, these display rules are overwritten, which is not what we’re after.

Furthermore, as we don’t want to annoy users with the pop-up, it needs to stay hidden when its being closed by the user for at least 30 days. By setting the cookies to 0 the pop-up will just keep appearing, on every page, annoying the user.

Could you please advice why the plugin isn’t respecting the display rules as defined?

Hi robinpieters, the popup works on a popup basis and not page basis. If you configure the popup to show on several pages ( A,B,C) but your user close the popup on page B he won’t see it on page A and C because the cookie already been set.

For the display rules be sure that you knwo the difference between AND group rules and OR group rules. You have two buttons to add rules for this.

Is not the same saying show the popup if user is on page A or page B that saying show the popup if user is on page A and page B which is impossible

    I hope is more clear.

    Regards
